Are You Willing to Trust? – Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are certainly a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles on the market, but there has to be something that you’ve hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Consider your lifetime since it appears to be these days when it comes to the story. How can we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who’s my source?” So whenever we talk about the past stage to the awakening being pure trust, it’s simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon many of these made-up concepts authors acim, beliefs and ideas in the world. It’s kind of like making a big house of cards, stacking on one card after the other. Then the good wind arrives and poof, it’s just blown over. It can’t even stand a little gust of wind. It’s so frail. It’s so temporary. It’s so transitory; It absolutely was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon everything else; all those things that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy?It surely comes down seriously to the essence of who is my brother? Could it be Spirit or matter? Could it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how many of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried that certain?So you’re asking the question, “When someone dies or appears to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where all this is heading would be to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will reveal is that everything is mental and that everything is really a hallucination. This is a full world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn’t reality at all. There is no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to create his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the bond between thought and form. His lessons begin with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I’ve given everything I see all the meaning it has for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way as much as number 4, “These thoughts don’t mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He’s speaing frankly about thoughts. First He’s speaing frankly about perception, then about our thoughts, then He comes back with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 … perception, perception, perception, perception, perception … and then number 10, “My thoughts don’t mean anything.” You will see he’s attempting to melt everything together and show the past veil or stage of awakening, which is trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time to teach us there’s no such thing as time, to take us back to that timeless moment that is the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to instruct us that they are all illusions and that they are all equally meaningless. That’s the method of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work well with your brain to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What sort of things can you invest in, these days?
